ASTI Feynman Challenge 2024

The ASTI Feynman Challenge (AFC) is an online project first developed and implemented during the MCO period in 2020. AFC received a tremendous response for the past 3 years with over 600 registrations and over 300 videos received every year.

AFC requires you as a team of two people or more to invent something simple that you use to teach a scientific principle. The invention can be created with any simple object. e.g. design and build a catapult made of clips and rubber bands to teach the 3rd Law of Newton. The Invention can also be a new way of teaching the concept. Send us a 5-minute video with your demonstration and explanation of the scientific concept uploaded on YouTube.

We use the Feynman Technique in this project. Modules explaining AFC are available for your learning and participation. Your entry will also have the opportunity to be showcased in a new portal being developed by ASTI.
